AAV2 Epitope is a bioactive peptide with a sequence containing 9 amino acids. AAV2 Epitope is a capsid derived immunodominant adenovirus 2 (AAV2) and CD8 T cell epitope. The liver toxicity observed in a clinical trial of systemic delivery of AAV2 to hemophilia patients was attributed to the capsid specific T cell killing vector mediated liver cells.
