Hepcidin-1 (mouse) is a peptide composed of 25 amino acids and contains a large amount of Cys in its sequence. The expression level of Hepcidin-1 is determined by the iron content in the organism and the degree of inflammation. When anemia and hypoxia occur, Hepcidin-1 is inhibited. Due to the large amount of amino acids in the Hepcidin-1 (mouse) sequence, four pairs of disulfide bonds are ultimately formed, and the secondary structure of Hepcidin-1 (mouse) is very stable.
