4-Methoxy-TEMPO (4-methoxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinyloxy) is an aminoxyl free radical commonly employed for the oxidation reaction of alcohols (primary/secondary). It has been proposed as hindered amine light stabiliser (HALS) model compound.
