Benzeneperoxyselenic acid Chemische Eigenschaften,Einsatz,Produktion Methoden
Verwenden
Benzeneperoxyselenic acid can be used as a reagent in the Baeyer-Villiger reaction and as an oxidant for various functional groups.
synthetische
The preparation of Benzeneperoxyselenic acid involves the oxidation of phenylselenic acid or diphenyl diselenide with a 30% excess of hydrogen peroxide at -10 °C. In a similar manner, 2-nitro and 2,4-dinitrobenzene peroxyselenic acids are obtained with 90% H2O2. Peroxyselenic acid is believed to be a reactive intermediate when an organic substrate is treated with H2O2 or tert-butyl hydroperoxide in the presence of an aromatic selenic acid or an aromatic diselenide.
Lager
Caution: explosion hazard! Benzeneperoxyseleninic acid decomposes
when dried in vacuo. It may be stored in a refrigerator for 1 week. Left to stand in air at rt for 3-4 days, it
rearranges to benzeneseleninic acid. In the presence of water, it decomposes to benzeneseleninic acid and
H2O2. This compound should be handled in a fume hood.
