TROPONIN I Chemische Eigenschaften,Einsatz,Produktion Methoden
Verwenden
Troponin I from human heart can be used in studies whether the actin and aldolase can protect rabbit muscle lactate dehydrogenase inhibition by ascorbate or not.
Allgemeine Beschreibung
Native troponin I purified from human heart. Inhibitory subunit of troponin that binds to actin in the absence of Ca
2+, thus inhibiting the ATPase activity of actomyosin. Presence of Tnl in plasma has been used for early detection of myocardial infarction. Useful as a standard in immunoassay and as an immunogen for anti-sera production. Also useful as a tracer for iodination.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Troponin I interacts with tropomyosin for regulating the contraction of striated muscle in a calcium-dependent manner. Additionally, Troponin I can also inhibits actomyosin ATPase and serves as a selective and potent inhibitor of angiogenesis in vivo and in vitro and of tumor metastasis in vivo.
