Stirrer, condenser, thermometer, 2L 4-neck flask,Attaching a gas blowing tube, magnesium 76.5g(3.15 mol) and THF 1008 ml were charged,Blowing vinyl chloride in 6.5 hours while controlling the temperature to 35 to 45° C., and aging at the same temperature for 1 hour, magnesium disappeared,A THF solution of vinylmagnesium chloride was obtained.The blown amount of vinyl chloride was 412.5 g.161.5 g (1.0 mol) of vinyltrichlorosilane was added dropwise to the obtained THF solution of vinylmagnesium chloride at 20 to 50° C. over 3 hours, and then the temperature was raised to the reflux temperature and the mixture was aged for 1 hour. After cooling the obtained reaction solution to room temperature, 550 g of water was added to produce a by-product.The magnesium salt was dissolved and removed by liquid separation. The obtained organic layer was distilled under reduced pressure to obtain 104.3 g (0.765 mol) of tetravinylsilane. The yield was 76.5%.
