5-Bromo-2-chloropyrimidine (lOg, 51.81 mmol) and tributyl (vinyl) stannane (20g, 56.99 mmol) were taken in DMF (lOOmL) in a seal tube under argon atmosphere at room temperature. The argon gas was purged for 5-10 min. Then Tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) (lg, 0.86 mmol) was added and the resulting reaction mixture was purged with argon gas for 5 min before sealing the reaction vial. Then the reaction mixture was heated at 100 °C for 5h. After completion of the reaction by TLC, the reaction mixture was filtered through a Celite bed and the filtrate was evaporated under vacuum to get a crude residue. The crude residue was purified by column chromatography on silica gel to afford the desired title compound (7g, 92%); LCMS: m/z = 141.1 (M+H)+, 143 (M+
