2.00 g (5.49 mmol) of the N,N'-di-(p-tolyl)-benzidine obtained in the above (1), 10 ml of a solution of n-butyllithium (about 16 mmol) in hexane and 4.02 g (13.7 mmol) of triphenylchlorosilane [halogenated silane shown as (1) in Table 12, supplied by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.] were allowed to react in the same manner as in Example 1.
