Example 14 (2-Propylsulfanyl-pyrimidin-4-yl)-hydrazine 4-Chloro-2-propylsulfanyl-pyrimidine (15.03 g), hydrazine (10.69 g) and potassium carbonate (15.37 g) were added to ethanol (150 mL) and the mixture was heated to 80° C. for three hours. The mixture was cooled, filtered, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was chromatographed (CH2Cl2/hexanes through silica) to give 7.036 g of (2-propylsulfanyl-pyrimidin-4-yl)-hydrazine.
