General procedure: A mixture of 7f (38.7 mg, 0.166 mmol) in HCl in dioxane (4 mol/L)/2-propanol (1:2, 5.0 mL) was stirred for 1 h at room temperature. After the reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo, the residue was purified over DOWEX 50 W × 4 (100-200 mesh, H+ activated, 0.78 g). H2O followed by 2.8% NH3 aq eluted 10f (19.5 mg, 91%).
