6 Preparation of PACM from formula (IIa)
In a 200 L autoclave, 15 kg of MDA and 60 kg of tetrahydrofuran were added, followed by 450 g of a 5% Ru/Al 2 O 3 catalyst and 450 g of potassium aluminum sulfate.After sealing, replace the air in the autoclave with hydrogen.Then pass 8MPa hydrogen,The autoclave was heated to 140 ° C, and the hydrogen valve was adjusted to maintain the pressure in the autoclave at 10 MPa and the reaction was vigorously stirred for 4 hours.After cooling, the sample was taken and detected by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The detection result was 100% conversion of MDA.The PACM yield is 99.6%. The byproducts 4-amino-dicyclohexylmethane and dicyclohexylmethane were not detected.
