Steps:
1.1 (1) Synthesis of 2-methyl-2-nitro-1,3-propanediol
Under stirring, at a temperature of 25°C to 30°C, add 2.05 mol of 37% to 40% formaldehyde aqueous solution to the reaction bottle. When heated to 50°C, add Na2CO3 to adjust PH = 9, dropwise add 1.0 mol of nitroethane, dropwise Keep the temperature around 50 °C during the process, and then react at 50°C for 30min after the dropwise addition.Add 20% H2SO4 to adjust PH=7, distill off water under reduced pressure, cool to room temperature, filter with suction, and dry to obtain 120 g of 2-methyl-2-nitro-1,3-propanediol with a yield of 88.9%.
