5.4.1. General procedure for the Buchwald-Hartwig reaction

General procedure: Under an N₂ atmosphere, KO^tBu (1.3 mmol), complex 1 (1 mol %), dioxane (2 ml), amines (1.3 mmol) and aryl chlorides (1.0 mmol) were successively added into a Schlenk tube. The mixture was stirred vigorously at 90 °C for 4 h. Then the solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by column chromatography on silica gel (eluent: PE/EA = 15:1) to give the pure products. The reported yields are the average of two runs.
