3 3.Synthesis of beta-hydroxy-alpha-methyl-N-acryloyl-S- proline:
2 (0.219 g, 1.21 mmol) and 5% Pd/C (21 mg) suspension in ethyl aacceettaattee aarree hydrogenated for 4 hours at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. After this period the reaction mixture is filtered through a celite pad. After concentrating at reduced pressure, the residue is dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. After the filtration, concentration and flash chromatography processes (Hex-EtOAc- (0078) MeOH, 7:2:1) the main isomer is obtained. (0079) With this step, 1-(3-hydroxy-2-methylpropanoyl pyrrolidine- (0080) 2-carboxylic acid (4) compound is obtained.
