When it comes to the application of Tris, we are familiar with its application in biological buffers, cosmetics, scientific research, cell culture, and pharmaceutical accessories, which is also the area most consulted by most raw material manufacturers. In fact, it has many other applications that have been "buried". 1. Synthesis of Schiff base by reduction of trimethylol aminomethane
The Schiff base with trimethylol aminomethane has the properties of chelation, heat resistance, liquid crystal and intrinsic conductivity. The conductivity of Conjugated Poly (Schiff base) doped with iodine can be increased by about 8 orders of magnitude, so that it can reach the level of semiconductor. The doped materials have good stability, electrochemical activity and photoconductivity. Moreover, the use of Schiff base synthesized from trimethylol aminomethane and other solvents can directly make the Schiff Base get rid of the difficulty of polymer processing and characterization In addition, the conductivity increases.
2. Application of trimethylol aminomethane on modified activated carbon
Trihydroxymethyl aminomethane (Tris) has the following advantages: (1) small molecules are used to ensure the surface modification of the modifier, while maintaining the high specific surface of the activated carbon fiber, so that the porous structure of the activated carbon will not be damaged, so as to better absorb harmful substances in the air and increase the adsorption capacity; (2) the preparation method is relatively mild, (3) the adsorption capacity of activated carbon modified by chemical reagents such as trimethylol aminomethane can be increased to 40-60mg SO2 / g adsorbent, which is 4-6 times higher than that before modification.
3. Use of trimethylol aminomethane flame retardant
The use of trimethylol aminomethane flame retardant is a typical example of this characteristic. The preparation of alumina flame retardant has the characteristics of moisture-free and high purity, and has higher electronic insulation, electrolyte corrosion resistance and thermal stability. As a flame retardant, it has sufficient electrochemical and chemical stability and good homogenization effect.
