MOPS series
MOPS, used to prepare MOPS buffer. Zwitterionic buffer is mainly used as the running buffer in denaturing gel electrophoresis. The pKa (72) is closer to the physiological pH value than MES (pka=6.1), so it is more suitable for use as a physiologically related buffer. Interfering with the analysis of Folin protein, the presence of glucose in the solution will be partially inactivated by autoclaving. It is not recommended to use a concentration of more than 20mM in mammalian cell culture.
MOPSO, a zwitterionic aminopropanesulfonic acid buffer similar in structure to MOPS, has an effective pE buffer range of 6.5-7,9. It is suitable for various physiological application buffer components including DNA gel electrophoresis.
TAPS series:
TAPS, a zwitterionic buffer for biochemical research and molecular biology, has an effective pH buffer range of 7.7-9.1. Suitable for capillary electrophoresis analysis of DNA and DNA-dye complexes. It can inhibit the activity of connexin channel. Various carbonic anhydrase activity studies use TAPS physiological buffer, pKa=8.4.
TAPSO, physiological zwitterionic buffer, is suitable for adding to cell culture systems.
HEPES series
HEPES is one of the best ZUI buffers that can satisfy all biological research. A zwitterionic organic chemical buffer with the strongest buffering capacity in the range of pH 6.0-8.5. It has a wide range of applications, including: 1) Used as a buffer system for cell culture, with a common working concentration of 10-25 mM; compared with inorganic bicarbonate buffer systems, it exhibits better pH control capabilities in tissue or organ culture. 2) Used for isoelectric focusing electrophoresis experiments; 3) Used as a suitable buffer system for electron microscope observation of protein deposition technology, HEPES will not have a negative impact on the metal substrate; 4) Can be used as a buffer for quantitative and selective determination of antigen-antibody reactions Reagents; 5) Not suitable for the determination of Folin.
CHES series
CHES application description: Zwitterionic buffer, effective pH buffer range (8.6-10.0), pKa9.49 (25°C). It is suitable for studying pH-dependent processes in enzymology. It has an unusually high affinity for the iodoacetate binding site on liver alcohol dehydrogenase.
