Corosolic acid physical properties:
Corosolic acid is a white amorphous powder (methanol), soluble in petroleum ether, benzene, chloroform, pyridine and other organic solvents, insoluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, methanol. In anhydrous conditions, color reactions or fluorescence may occur with strong acids (sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, perchloric acid), moderately strong acids (trichloroacetic acid), or Lewis's acid (zinc chloride, aluminum trichloride, antimony trichloride).
