Hongyu Environmental Protection’s 100,000-ton/year sodium methoxide project uses a combination of vertical sieve plate technology and rectification technology. Relying on the methanol produced by the first-phase 150,000-ton/mixed alcohol comprehensive utilization project and local rich sodium hydroxide as raw materials, various energy-saving means and measures such as energy consumption optimization, raw material consumption, and thermal coupling are used to reduce device energy consumption. The main consumption indicators of its unit production capacity and resources are lower than domestic counterparts.

Hongyu Environmental Protection's 100,000 tons/year sodium methoxide project officially started construction in June 2021. The physical workload includes process pipelines (including methanol recovery towers, tail gas treatment), steam desuperheating and decompression steam pipelines in the outer pipe gallery, sodium methoxide loading pipelines, methanol feeding pipelines, desalinated water delivery pipes, public works pipelines, finished product storage tanks in tank farms, public works, desalinated water stations, air-compressed nitrogen and other monomer construction. In the face of unfavorable factors such as tight construction schedules, heavy tasks, and repeated epidemics, Hongyu Environmental Protection's 100,000 tons/year sodium methoxide project department adheres to the concept of "starting with consistent care and first-class products", and by giving full play to the advantages of the "total-point" integrated management model, it has gradually overcome various difficulties such as difficult manpower coordination, small construction work area, and slow delivery of materials to the factory.
