主要應(yīng)用：

（1）對消化系統(tǒng)的影響
調(diào)整胃腸運(yùn)動功能 黨參為補(bǔ)中益氣之要藥，能糾正病理狀態(tài)的胃腸運(yùn)動功能紊亂。

（1）益智作用
黨參能增強(qiáng)和改善小鼠的學(xué)習(xí)記憶能力。黨參乙醇提取物的正丁醇萃取物能拮抗東莨菪堿引起的小鼠記憶獲得障礙，改善亞硝酸鈉引起的小鼠記憶鞏固障礙及40%乙醇引起的小鼠記憶再現(xiàn)缺損。
(2)鎮(zhèn)靜、催眠、抗驚厥作用
黨參脂溶性和水溶性皂苷經(jīng)腦室給藥，均能引起清醒家兔的腦電圖出現(xiàn)高幅慢波的變化，而靜脈給藥僅有脂溶性部分有此作用。

THERAPUTIC EFFECTS: stomachic; cardiotonic; builds immunity and raises resistance; lowers blood pressure; raises blood sugar.
INDICATIONS: chronic fatigue; hypertension; loss of appetite; indigestion due to hyperacidity; loose bowels; pale complexion; exhaustion after surgery or childbirth body bloating and facial swelling due to edema; immune deficiency; hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
Since this herb acts similarly to ginseng, it can be substituted for the latter when ginseng is too costly or in short supply.
