阿瑞吡坦是一種止吐化合物，屬于“P物質(zhì)”拮抗劑（SPA），其作用是阻斷神經(jīng)激肽1（Nk1）受體。用于預(yù)防化療引起的急性和延遲性惡心嘔吐（CINV）和預(yù)防術(shù)后惡心嘔吐。它也可用于治療周期性嘔吐綜合征和癌癥治療期間發(fā)生的晚期化療引起的嘔吐。阿瑞吡坦通過阻斷Nk1受體釋放的信號(hào)減輕患者嘔吐的情況。Nk1是g蛋白偶聯(lián)受體，其配體為P物質(zhì)（SP）。嘔吐反射需要高濃度的SP。阿瑞吡坦阻斷SP-NK1信號(hào)激活嘔吐反射的過程。

Applications
Aprepitant is an antiemetic chemical compound that belongs to “substance P” antagonists (SPA) with its effect being blocking the neurokinin 1(Nk1) receptor. It is used for the prevention of acute and delayed chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting(CINV) and for the prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting. It can also beused for the treatment of cyclic vomiting syndrome and late-stage chemotherapy-induced vomiting occurring during cancer treatment.
Aprepitant alleviates the case of vomiting in patients through balking the signals released by Nk1 receptors. Nk1 is aG-protein-coupled receptor with its ligand being substance P (SP). The high concentration of SP is required for the vomiting reflex. Aprepitant blocks the process of SP-NK1 signaling in activating the vomiting reflex.
