半胱氨酸蛋白酶抑制劑2（CST2）也稱為半胱氨酸蛋白酶抑制劑SA，半胱氨酸蛋白酶抑制劑S5，是一種分泌型巰基蛋白酶抑制劑，屬于半胱氨酸蛋白酶抑制劑家族。2型半胱氨酸蛋白酶抑制劑是一類半胱氨酸蛋白酶抑制劑，存在于各種人體液體和分泌物中，似乎具有保護(hù)功能。CST1、CST2、CST4和CST5以不同的組織特異性模式表達(dá)。CST2在頜下腺和舌下唾液中表達(dá)，但在腮腺唾液中不表達(dá)（在蛋白質(zhì)水平上），也在頜下腺和腮腺中表達(dá)。
