This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 22.3 kDa. The protein migrates as 33-40 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）

T細(xì)胞表面抗原CD2也稱為紅細(xì)胞受體、LFA-2、LFA-3受體、Rosette受體、T細(xì)胞表面抗體T11/Leu-5和SRBC，是一種存在于T細(xì)胞和自然殺傷（NK）細(xì)胞表面的單程I型膜蛋白。CD2是免疫球蛋白超家族的成員。CD2/SRBC包含1個(gè)Ig-like C2型（免疫球蛋白樣）結(jié)構(gòu)域和1個(gè)Ig-like V型（免疫蛋白樣）功能域。CD2/SRBC與其他粘附分子相互作用，如人類淋巴細(xì)胞功能相關(guān)抗原-3（LFA-3/CD58）或嚙齒動(dòng)物的CD48，這些分子在其他細(xì)胞表面表達(dá)。除了其粘附特性外，CD2還充當(dāng)T細(xì)胞和NK細(xì)胞的共刺激分子。CD2是T細(xì)胞和NK細(xì)胞的特異性標(biāo)記，因此可用于免疫組織化學(xué)以鑒定組織切片中此類細(xì)胞的存在。
