This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 22.3 kDa. The protein migrates as 30-55 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
CD58也稱為淋巴細胞功能相關抗原3（LFA-3）。CD58是一種在抗原呈遞細胞（APC），特別是巨噬細胞上表達的細胞粘附分子。CD58/LFA3是T淋巴細胞CD2糖蛋白的配體，它與T細胞上的CD2（LFA-2）結合[3]，在加強T細胞和專業(yè)抗原呈遞細胞之間的粘附方面很重要。此外，LFA-3/CD2相互作用可能引發(fā)CD2+和LFA-3+細胞的反應。CD58基因的多態(tài)性與多發(fā)性硬化癥的風險增加有關。
