This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag?).
The protein has a calculated MW of 39.6 kDa. The protein migrates as 60-70 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

Siglec-9（HGMW批準的符號SIGLEC9）是屬于免疫球蛋白超家族（IgSF）的唾液酸結(jié)合Ig樣凝集素（siglec）家族的成員。SIGLEC9與siglec家族的許多成員顯示出高度的同源性，包括siglec-7（80%）、siglec-8（72%）、siglec-5（65%）和CD33（64%）。這種高度同源性在細胞外Ig樣結(jié)構(gòu)域中也是保守的。它們的特征是N端的Ig樣V型結(jié)構(gòu)域介導(dǎo)唾液酸結(jié)合，隨后是不同數(shù)量的Ig樣C2型結(jié)構(gòu)域Siglec-9具有疏水信號肽、N端Ig樣V型結(jié)構(gòu)域、兩個Ig樣C2型結(jié)構(gòu)域，一個跨膜區(qū)和一個細胞質(zhì)尾部。
