Cadherin-6分子背景
Cadherin-6（CDH6）也稱為腎鈣粘蛋白（K-Cadherin或KCAD），是鈣粘蛋白超家族中的一種II型經(jīng)典鈣粘蛋白。鈣粘蛋白是鈣依賴性細(xì)胞粘附蛋白。它們在連接細(xì)胞時優(yōu)先以親同的方式與自己相互作用；鈣粘蛋白因此可能有助于異質(zhì)細(xì)胞類型的分選。CDH6/KCAD包含五個鈣粘蛋白結(jié)構(gòu)域。CDH6在大腦、小腦和腎臟中高度表達。肺、胰腺和胃黏膜的表達較弱，在某些肝癌和腎癌中也有表達。
