Hydrazinium sulfate is a useful agent for the N-deacylation of various molecules. In the N-deacylation of the ceramide moiety of glycosphingolipids, Hydrazine sulfate was an effective catalyst for the deacylation of the ceramide moiety. It has been used in a modified hydrazinolysis procedure in which the glycosaminoglycans were heated with a hydrazine solution resulting in rapid rates of N-deacetylation and minimal conversion of uronic acid residues to their hydrazide derivatives.硫酸肼鹽可用于合成對稱的 3，5-二取代的 4-氨基-1，2，4-三唑，聚（1，3，4-惡二唑）共聚物和水楊醛嗪。
