為蛋白同化激素類(lèi)藥，既能增加從氨基酸合成蛋白質(zhì)，又能抑制氨基酸分解生成尿素，并有促進(jìn)體內(nèi)鈣質(zhì)蓄積的功能。其同化作用較其他睪丸素類(lèi)衍生物強(qiáng)大而持久，而其男性激素作用卻較小。主要用于蛋白質(zhì)缺乏癥，如嚴(yán)重灼傷、惡性腫瘤患者手術(shù)前后、骨折后不易愈合和嚴(yán)重骨質(zhì)疏松癥、早產(chǎn)兒生長(zhǎng)發(fā)育顯著遲緩等。
