Tat-NR2B9c can serve as a postsynaptic density 95 (PSD-95) inhibitor peptide, containing 20 amino acids in its sequence. The EC50 of Tat-NR2B9c to PSD-95d2 (PSD-95 PDZ domain 2) is 6.7 nM; The EC50 of PSD-95d1 was 670 nM. Tat-NR2B9c also reduced NMDA induced p38 activation and exhibited neuroprotective effects.
