Solubility:
Soluble in water, dimethylsulfoxide and methanol. Slightly soluble in anhydrous ethanol. Insoluble in methylene chloride.
REVIEW Methylenediphosphonic acid is used as a radioactive imaging agent, which is primarily used in skeletal scintigraphy. Due to its absorption by a variety of tumors, it is useful for the detection of neoplasms.
