     Urea, also known as urea or carbamide, is a final product of protein metabolism in humans and mammals, and a major organic nitrogen compound excreted by the animal body. Pure products are white granular or needle shaped, prismatic crystals, mixed with heavy metals such as iron, and appear light red or yellow. Odorless and tasteless, easily soluble in water, ethanol, and benzene, but insoluble in ether and chloroform. At 20 ℃, 100 kilograms of water can dissolve 105 kilograms of urea, and heat is absorbed during dissolution. The aqueous solution exhibits a neutral reaction. The pure product has a nitrogen content of 46.65%, agricultural urea is 42% to 46%, and contains a small amount of biuret, generally less than 2%, which is usually harmless to crop growth; The specific gravity and bulk density of urea are relatively small, with a weight of 0.65 tons per cubic meter of fertilizer.
