Appearance: Colorless crystals or white particles. No odor. Slightly deliquescent in humid air. Weathering in dry air above 33 ℃, melting when rapidly heated to 48 ℃, losing crystalline water at 100 ℃, and decomposing at higher temperatures. Soluble in 0.5 parts of water, insoluble in ethanol. The aqueous solution slowly decomposes at room temperature, while heating accelerates the decomposition rate. The aqueous solution is almost neutral, with a pH of 6.5-8.0.

Storage: Sealed, cool, dry, and protected from light.

Usage: Oxidation-reduction titration. Microanalytical reagents. Droplet analysis to determine cobalt. Measure blood sodium. Preparation of disaccharide iron urea culture medium, etc. Photographic fixing agent. Chlorination agent.
