The physiological activity of limonin analogues was studied from the medicinal plants of the family. (3) Insect protection and insecticidal activity Regarding the ingestion and damage inhibition of limonin analogities, impicin isolated from Azadirachtaindica seeds has high activity and has effects on more than 60 kinds of insects. Citrus limonin analogues (obacinone, nomiline, limonin) are also active against insects and termites. It is of great significance to develop and utilize these natural limonin analogs as biological pest control agents.
