Hinokitiol, also known as hinokiol, is a natural compound of monoterpenoid with epophenone skeleton extracted from the trunk of Taiwan hinokiol by Japanese scientist Anderson in 1948. It is a trophenone compound, which has good antibacterial, moisturizing and pest repellent effect. It is a plant component with high safety, and can be used as an antibacterial and pest control agent. It is the main component of Taiwan Cypress essential oil. It has a wide range of biological activities and strong bactericidal ability.
