Uses:
GB 2760-96 specifies that the use of edible spices is temporarily permitted. Ethyl phenyl acetate is mainly used to prepare honey, peach, tobacco and other flower fragrances for daily use.
A small amount is used in various types of fragrance, mainly used in middle and low grade white rose, sandalwood rose, lily of the valley, sweet bean flower, neroli, honey fragrance, clover and some fat wax fragrance. Can be widely used in tobacco and food flavor, is a good flavor of tobacco flavor. In honey, cream, apricot, cherry, peach and other edible flavor should be used less.
Ethyl phenylacetate is a synthetic fragrance with a prominent and sweet rose fragrance. More widely used in tobacco, soap, daily cosmetics flavor, a small amount for white rose, trace for neroli, sweet bean and honey fruit flavor, suitable for Havana grass flavor. In the pharmaceutical industry this product is used in the production of barbiturate hypnotic Lumina, can also be used as a solvent.
