Ammonium bicarbonate is an advanced fermentation agent for food. Combined with sodium bicarbonate, it can be used for raw bread, biscuits, pancakes and other leavening agent. It can also be used as foaming powder juice raw materials. Sodium bicarbonate is used in green vegetables and bamboo shoots as blanching agent.

3. Ammonium Bicarbonate is also used for buffering solutions to slightly alkaline pH during chemical purification, such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography.

4. Ammonium Bicarbonate is also a key component of the expectorant cough syrup.
