Application
ChangFu? TMAC can be used for the preparation of silanols and siloxanes. High yield active silanols can be synthesized from organic acyloxysilane by taking advantage of ChangFu? TMAC’s hydrolytic characteristics and the weak catalytic action of by-product ACOH on silanol condensation.
ChangFu? TMAC can be used in the manufacturing of silicone oil and silicone rubber as a neutralizing agent. A tiny amount of KOH or potassium siloxane alcohol is typically utilized as a ring opening polymerization catalyst. If not neutralized after the reaction, it will have a significant impact on the product's performance. The use of ChangFu? TMAC as a neutralizing agent outperforms current general neutralizing procedures, not only improving the neutralizing effect but also yielding the target chemical with a low Si OH value.
ChangFu? TMAC can be used as an active hydroxyl scavenger. If there are too many Si-OH and other OH-containing compounds in dealcoholized and ketone oxime type single component room temperature vulcanized silicone and high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, the storage term will be reduced or the rubber material will vulcanize prematurely. The addition of ChangFu? TMAC can effectively react with active OH, which can improve silicone rubber storage stability, and has no negative impact on product performance.
