Dioxaether is an inhibitor of side chain amino acid synthesis, namely acetyllactogenic enzyme (ALS) inhibitor, which prevents cell division by inhibiting the biosynthesis of essential amino acids valine and isobalainine, thus halting plant growth. It is a broad-spectrum herbicide, quickly absorbed by leaves and roots, and quickly transmitted to the whole plant. It is used to control annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds and barnyard grass in direct seeding and transfer paddy fields. The application amount is 15-45g/ha.
