Photoinitiator 907 is an efficient UV initiator, which is used to initiate UV polymerization of unsaturated prepolymer system. For example: acrylic resin and vinyl monomers with single functional group and multi-functional group. The results show that the initiator molecule has a certain light absorption ability in the ultraviolet region (250 ~ 400 nm) or visible region (400 ~ 800 nm). After absorbing the light energy directly or indirectly, the initiator molecule transits from the ground state to the excited singlet state, and then to the excited triplet state through inter system channeling; After the excited singlet state or triplet state undergoes single or bimolecular chemical action, the active fragments that can initiate monomer polymerization are produced. These active fragments can be free radicals, cations, anions and so on. According to different initiation mechanism, photoinitiators can be divided into free radical polymerization photoinitiators and cationic photoinitiators, among which free radical polymerization photoinitiators are the most widely used. Photoinitiator 907 is especially suitable for UV curable inks and colored coatings due to its high absorption properties. UV ink contains a lot of photoinitiators. It is these photoinitiators that make the ink dry quickly in the printing process. These photoinitiators themselves are not stable, even in the dark environment, they are also prone to dark reaction, resulting in one by one of the ink gelatinization nucleus, followed by a large area of gelatinization phenomenon, especially when the metal ink is preserved, it is more likely to occur the similar situation. Therefore, it is suggested that the ink pigment and binder should be stored separately and mixed with large-scale machinery when they are used. High efficiency photoinitiator used in UV curing system can make it not yellowing for a long time and prolong storage. It is a special initiator for UV curing coatings, inks and adhesives containing pigments. It can be used with 184, itx and other initiators. It can be used in colored ink system, paper / metal and plastic polish and electronic ink. It can also be used as ultraviolet absorber in cosmetics and other industries. 2-6% is recommended.
