Description
cADP-Ribose, a nicotamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) metabolite, is an agent extracted from sea urchin eggs and has been shown to mobilize intracellular Ca2+ stores of the eggs. Additionally, in a study on pancreatic beta cells, cADP-Ribose was found to be generated in islets by glucose stimulation, and served as a second messenger for calcium mobilization in the endoplasmic reticulum. Other experiments have reported cADP-Ribose to be a signaling molecule in abscisic acid response in plants, which mediates plant responses to stresses such as salinity, cold, and drought.More related product prices
