Uses

DB-959 (PPARδ/γ agonist 1) is a potent PPAR agonist targeting PPARδ/γ. DB-959 improves spatial learning and memory in mice induced by Streptozotocin (HY-13753) and has the potential to improve Alzheimer's disease (AD).[1].

in vivo

PPARδ/γ agonist 1 (1 mg/kg; i.g.; daily, for 16 days; STZ-mediated Long Evans rats) restores STZ-mediated impairments of motor function[1].

Animal Model:STZ-mediated Long Evans rats[1]
Dosage:1 mg/kg
Administration:Oral gavage; daily, for 16 days
Result:Improved performance in the STZ-mediated rats and had neuroprotective for both granule and Purkinje cells.
