Acid blue 98 (C.I. 50335) [6378-89-8],is synthesized by the following reaction sequence: 2-phenylaminonaphthalene is condensed with 4- nitrosoethylbenzylaniline to give the indamine, which is oxidized with manganese dioxide to the isorosinduline.

red light navy blue. For the navy, soluble in water, soluble in ethanol to blue. The strong sulfuric acid for green, diluted into red purple. In water solution to join sodium hydroxide to purplish red color, and accompanied by precipitation.
