The preparation of Bis(3-allyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)sulfone is as follows:4,4'-diallyl diphenyl sulfone (40 g, 0.12 mol) and methyl glycine diacetic acid (0.4 g) were added to 100 mL (95.36 g) of diethylene glycol monobutyl ether under nitrogen protection.The reaction was stirred and heated in a 198-200 ° C oil bath for 7 hours. After the reaction was completed, the solvent was recovered, and the residue was poured into 100 mL of 10% NaOH (110 g) solution, stirred and dissolved, and heated to 80 ° C for 15 minutes after adding activated carbon. After filtration, the aqueous phase was cooled to room temperature, and the pH was adjusted to about 8.5 with 30% H 2 SO 4 while stirring.
