Hazard Information | Back Directory | [Description]
NBD sphingosine is a biologically active derivative of sphingosine that is tagged with a fluorescent nitrobenzoxadiazole (NBD) group. It has been used to study the cellular localization and metabolism of sphingosine in HeLa cells. NBD sphingosine inhibits proliferation of HCT116, PC3, HEK293T, and HFE-145 cells (IC50s = 25.6, 40.5, 10.4, and 12.5 μM, respectively). |
